About the Writer
The title of this blog refers to the way my mind works. Thoughts and ideas are always “…jumping around like fleas on a hot griddle.” That’s how my eighth grade Latin teacher, Mrs. Bradham, described our early teen brains.
I never grew out of that. This is a collection of those fleas still jumping around in my head.
I’m a retired public school teacher and counselor, proud to have made it to Medicare, a life-long resident of South Carolina. I now fill my days writing, working in the yard, building shelves (I love to organize.), and thoroughly enjoying every minute. As a friend of a friend said, “Every day is Saturday night.”
